FC5: unofficial kernel updates?

There was a fedoralegacy project where interested parties were releasing 
security updates for the older releases. Over time, there was a lack of 
willing developers. A vote was held that determined to abandon the 
effort, see: http://www.fedoralegacy.org/

Dare I suggest moving onto F7 {perhaps via F6} ?
