Yeah, pretty much.  I'm sure you could still use if you wanted to; there are a
lot of drivers for dot matrix printers that you can use with your Linux setup,
for example.  Software emulators work rather well, too.  (I use Vice and DOSEMU
on a fairly regular basis.)
