F7 hangs after INIT: booting

I believe that is a longstanding bug, the rw/ro thing. It really is
mounted ro. You can remount it as rw
mount /dev/sdb2 / -oremount,rw,data=ordered
What are some examples of the "lot of commands" that "seem to hang"?
What else is mounted?
Anything mount with ntfs3g in fstab?
