It is -- since round about mid of July in the Fedora kernels iirc.

Which only helps for the harddisk but not for the CD-DVD-Drive (if it's
a PATA one). As one afaik are can't use ata_generic in anaconda of F7
properly you are out of luck on such machines and can't install from
CD/DVD -- that which sucks :-/
