Yes. I am not 100% sure of this, but it definitely will not hurt,
and it may help. I know sound card detection/setup puts in matching
lines. So the question becomes, when you do not have matching lines,
what options are used? Someone that knows the modprobe code can
probably tell us. I suspect it depends on if you use the module
name, or the alias.
