No text in MythTV menus

With the newest version of MythTV, there is no text displayed on the
menus and I get loads of the error message below:

Mesa 6.5.2 implementation error: User called no-op dispatch function (an
unsupported extension function?)

It used to work fine, but something must be broken now. Following advice
in the MythTV forums (I think), I installed
msttcorefonts-2.0-1.noarch.rpm, but to no avail.
