The ones where you plonk a finger down and it scans are were very
susceptible to forgeries (someone lifting a print from the scan window
and putting a faked print back down again).  But I haven't heard
anything about outsmarting the ones where you smear your finger down a
thin scanning window (you'd need a faked print that'd survive being
scraped across the scanner).
