Galeon on 64-bit machines

Greetings,

Many media plugins ceased functioning in my installation of Galeon on my 
Core 2 machine while they work correctly on my Dell Pentium-based (i386) 
laptop.

Comparing the "about.plugins" reports from Firefox and Galeon I notice 
that for Shockwave the galeon file is npwrapper.libflashplayer.so and the 
Firefox one is npwrapper.libflashplayer.so. I assume that this could be 
the reason for the plugins' failur on Galeon.

How can the configuration be changed.
