Intel i915 Display issues with F10?

The thing that is most noticeable is that screen redraws seem slower and 
jerky.  The other effect seems limited to Firefox - parts of the screen 
(usually the header area) do not redraw until the pointer is moved over 
the area.  I have been assuming this is a video driver problem . .
