Wild strange problems

- An xorg graphics ati driver causes input lockup loop while an older 
version did not cause the same error.
- Network service on boot stalls system while using NetworkManager works.
- /dev/rtc already created so will not overwrite, making /dev/rtc0 symlink
- This thread in general.

I'm sure there are other strange problems related to program interactions.
