How can mplayer play rmvb video file

Yep. I always had problems finding any docs for where it looks
so I ran strace -e trace=file mplayer and the first directory it
tries is indeed /usr/lib/codecs. The livna mplayer rpm even creates
an empty /usr/lib/codecs when it is installed.
