F9 Xorg update seems slower

I have downgraded xorg-x11-server-Xorg and xorg-x11-server-common to 
1.4.99.901-29.20080415.fc9 and performance is back to the way it was.
Direct rendering is still disabled. I did not notice all this time as I
don't use 3d.
