Funny you should say that. I've consulted with the livna leaders!

This works, all on one line, replace the src.rpm with the one you
want.  This assumes you are booted into the kernel for which you are
trying to rebuild the kmod-nvidia RPM.

rpmbuild --rebuild /tmp/nvidia-kmod-169.12-2.lvn8.src.rpm  --define
"kernels $(uname -r)" --target=i686

Cheers. This did work just now for the koji kernel kernel-2.6.24.3-22.fc8.

If you are careful, you can replace the $(uname -r) with the desired
kernel number. As in
2.6.24.3-22.fc8.  This assumes you have kernel-devel installed to
match the kernel.  It appears it is not necessary to have
kernel-headers installed.
