Some key combinations cause reboot and kill monitor display

Tom,

Your email reminded me why I don't really like mailing lists. There are too 
many prats around like you who get their fun out of being really unpleasant 
to complete strangers.

Also, I didn't need to be told you have a PhD, I could have guessed.
