Firefox beta: problem with indexed PNGs?

Does anyone have a suggestion how I could test the Firefox from Rawhide? 
I tried to install it but the dependencies cascade to bring in most of 
the world, plus the rpms conflict with my F8 packages.

Remi's build for F8 shows the same image problem on my system.

Is there a live Rawhide CD? That would be kind of silly I guess.

Clues welcomed.
