Using preupgrade remotely over ssh

Preupgrade seems like a great new feature for Fedora. But for me, the  
main application would be to update servers in a hosting facility  
without having to physically be there. But I can't find any guidance  
on how to use it remotely.

So my question is:
Is there a way to use preupgrade remotely where one does not have  
physical access to the console?

The instructions imply that one must manipulate the boot installer  
after running preupgrade to set up the network and to select upgrade.
