Hi,

What kernel is did you install when you installed Fedora 9?

I had similar problems with my wireless card when I first tried to install
Fedora on my Toshiba Satellite A305-S6825. The kernel with the original
spin of Fedora 9 would not work with my NIC. The newer kernels for Fedora 9
work fine. I am currently running kernel 2.6.26.6-76.fc9.i686.

There is a new spin of Fedora 9 that should have a working kernel (working
with the Toshiba Satellite A305 series NIC). If you do not have that spin,
you can download the rpm files for the latest kernel and install the latest
kernel manually with the rpm command.

I had multiple computers and was able to download the kernel rpm package
from my Windows machine. If you have only a single computer, you may
consider installing Fedora 8 (which did not have the NIC problem),
downloading the latest FC9 kernel and then either installing or updating to
Fedora 9.
