F9 locale errors

Iam getting errors with locale:

 2/home/daf}locale -a | grep windows-1252
locale: Cannot set LC_CTYPE to default locale: No such file or directory
locale: Cannot set LC_MESSAGES to default locale: No such file or
directory
locale: Cannot set LC_COLLATE to default locale: No such file or
directory

Is there a fix for this?
