[OT] intel E5420 + tyan i5100x != virtualization

I put together a new MB, with 2 xeon E5420 and tyan i5100x MB.  On BIOS (advanced/cpu) 'virtualization technology' says 'enabled'.  But, not vmx bit, and ideas?
