My wife's PC is a diskless Shuttle X27D with 2G ram. Runs Fedora 10 off the file server in the basement (PXE boot), with a DVI LCD monitor. Everything seems to work fine, although it's not a "performance" box (dual core Atom). We got it for quietness and low power.
