grubby fatal error: unable to find a suitable template

When I update to kernel-2.6.27.12-78.2.8.fc9.i686.rpm using yum, II got
error:



 grubby fatal error: unable to find a suitable template

The kernel and kernel-devel seem installed, but /boot/grub/grub.conf was not
updated.

I have googled around, but with non luck. hope someone offer hints
