Don't know what happened here, but on firstboot it got to the fstab processing and said something like "cannot parse UUID" for the 2nd filesystem listed in the fstab (which also happens to be on the 2nd disk). Has not happened again since then. I guess I'll put it down to random timing error or something :-).
