After an update a few days ago my XFCE desktop started resizing to odd resolutions after login. The splash says starting xfce4-power-manager, but I've tried renaming the file so it doesn't start and the resolution still gets messed up. As a workaround, I have a script which runs xrandr to set the right resolution but I'm hoping it'll get fixed before too long.
