Hi, I've not seen the complete thread.
I have a similiar config in my notebook. I've installed the
akmod-nvidia rpm from rpmfusion and has no problem after a
reboot. BUT, before I have this done, I have added the
rdblacklist=nouveau entry in the /etc/grub.conf.
