Upgrade F8 to F12

You might just be able to go from F 8 to F 10 to F 12, but even that's a 
tad iffy.  There have been enough changes over the years, including 
where various files are located, that it's probably best to back up your 
data, reformat and reinstall from scratch.  And, it's not only safer, 
it's faster.  However, if I were you I'd plan on ending up with either F 
13 or 14 because F 12 just hit EOL and there won't be any updates for 
it, including for security.
