I mean. It's processor dependance. Just compiled and installed an 2.6.36.1-11 kernel
from rawhide and i don't have this anymore:

#uname -a
Linux asus 2.6.36.1-11.f14.lingeek.x86_64 #1 SMP Mon Dec 6 18:11:15 CET 2010 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

#ps -ef | grep  radeon
root       131     2  0 Dec06 ?        00:00:00 [radeon]
