both nics down after F14 kernel update

Try holding down shift when booting. You should get a grub menu. 
Downarrow to the previous kernel entry and hit 'b' to boot it. 

That should get you up in the old kernel at least. See if you can see
differences in the boot up logs in /var/log/messages from the old and
new kernel?
