Dual Monitor Question

I am very very new to Linux and Fedora 12 is the first OS I am working
with.  Can someone explain to me in detail how to get my dual monitor setup
working?  I have searched all over the internet to no avail.  I have a dell
monitor and a samsung monitor.  I am not sure what video card i have and i
dont know how to check or find that out since i am new to fedora.  Any help
is much appreciated.
