Problems after installing nvidia kmod

I am using the nouveau driver on a recent Fedora 12 install (earlier
Fedora 10). Is there a way to revert to the 3-colour progress bar
shown on boot-up (as in earlier Fedora versions), instead of the
Fedora logo ?
