  To be clear: Are you saying that running 32 bit addons in a 64 bit
build works, but running 32 bit addons in a 32 bit build does not ??
Interesting indeed .. and a little surprising.

  Also, upstream have started up 64 bit builds fyi so that issue is mooted.
