While technically true, the image is only about 12kb. Furthermore, under
a strict reading of the guidelines any PGP-signed message would be
prohibited (the signature is technically an attachment). I only did this
because I'm reasonably sure of having seen the occasional image before
now being accepted without complaint. Perhaps I'm deluded.

It's certainly something to keep in mind all the same.

Meanwhile, does anyone have an answer to my question?
