latest kernel boots to a blank screen

Here is how I got the latest update in with 190.53 nvidia driver

Install the driver from add remove software not yum
It will find the extention for kernel mod and install kernel
Do not reboot
edit the grub.conf like below and make sure nouveau is blacklisted on 
all kernel lines after quiet
lower protection from selinux

setsebool -P allow_execstack on

reboot


without the driver there is no cuda with nvidia gpu

you may have to uninstall kernel if you have made the attempt already then just re install the driver, it will install
new kernel and kernel mods
