share problem samba

Hi list
I have a problem with samba. I am used to make shares with samba, but this
time, I failed. I don't know where the problem is?
I configure my smb.conf as usual

root at localhost ~]# smbclient -L 192.168.1.10
Enter root's password:
Anonymous login successful

And I mount the samba share, but "ls" prints nothing.
Can you help please.

  320  chmod 777 /home/samba/
  321  mount -t cifs //192.168.1.10/public -o username=adel,password=*******
/mnt/server/
  322  cp /home/adel/vlc.* /home/samba/

[root at localhost ~]#  ls /mnt/server/
[root at localhost ~]#
