Hi Ed. Peace?

Perhaps a problem on my part. If so I stand corrected.

My 'complaint'? all along has been was with the way that the gentleman
that worked so hard on the site page for so long was attacked. Since Oct
2009 he worked to find what worked for all. I mean that. It was an on
going effort. You may notice that a major success it that the KDE people
did not feel slighted this time. :-)

Tests and questions and more questions. Test pages and more test pages.

And then, at the last minute, his efforts were attacked by some. A few
but enough to hurt. Some of which I figured to be language and custom
problems. But we all must remember that we are a community that covers
the world. Different languages and different customs. What is acceptable
in one could be an insult in another.

I did not think, still do not, that he was treated fairly. And I did,
darn straight, come out. No one else defended his efforts. I thought
that was necessary. Fair.

Was I wrong? Perhaps

Did *I* mean to insult anyone? Not really. But sometimes that is what it
takes to get people to look inside and think.

After all of this all I would like to see is a civilized discourse with
a best final solution for all.

What would be the problem with that?
