In that case you have mucked up your system.
I would guess libs and commands have been compromised (i.e. corrupted).
If you can, save all user data (especially the home directories).
To do that, insert the Fedora DVD, type Ctrl-Alt-Delete
to force a reboot.
Reboot into Rescue mode.
In rescu mode, back up the home dirs to another drive or
partition.
Then reboot, and do a fresh install of Fedora 14.
Download F14 from
http://mirrors.kernel.org/fedora/releases/14/Fedora/i386/iso/Fedora-14-i386-DVD.iso
or, if you are on 64 bit,
http://mirrors.kernel.org/fedora/releases/14/Fedora/x86_64/iso/Fedora-14-x86_64-DVD.iso
