I had done the same as you for F10/11/12, and I found it to be horribly
slow on anything that touches the disk. (because, so I'm told, the 16
gig secondary SSD is very cheap/slow flash RAM.)

Having done the install from live and putting /home and /usr on the
16 gig (along with a little bit of swap, which is pretty much never
used, but which serves to allow hibernation) it is MUCH more responsibe.
