Aren't upgrades demanding too much restarts?

But, in this case, when you logout, your use of the evolution data
server /should/ completely exit (there's no need for it to still be
doing something for when you're not there).  And it should be free to
restart.  Though, if you had multiple users logged in, rebooting does
become the simple way around it.

I do notice that there's often a variety of lingering things, sometimes,
when you log out, that ought to quit, but don't.
