selective command history

This is what I see.

> $ HISTCONTROL=ignorespace
> $ echo $HISTCONTROL
> ignorespace
> $ ls -d */
> bin/          codebaby/  firefox/    kagajpatra/  rpmbuild/    tmp/
> bugzilla/     Desktop/   gaanbajna/  Mail/        scripts/     Videos/

After the above session, my history file looks like this.
