Help with PPTP VPN connection keeps failing

Thanks for the reference.  Right now I am struggling to understand how 
Fedora's Network Manager calls the pptp tunnel so I can enable 
additional logging.  I did find this reference 
(http://live.gnome.org/NetworkManager/Debugging), but the output log 
that is produced doesn't seem to help me pinpoint the issue.  Can you 
see anything of value in it?
