Hi, I changed all my nsswitch.conf entries to point to files, previously it was set to "files nis". However when I ssh in it still takes a long time to authenticate. Is there a service I need to restart e.g. pam etc? .... I'll reboot as a last resort but I thought it was an interesting problem. Thanks Dan
