not a 'recovery disk', but i will suggest getting 'parted magic';

which has clonezilla;

  http://clonezilla.org/

and can be used to clone your current system for reinstalling.

plus, you get a good partitioning package that can be booted from a
usb 'memory stick' which will have to add what ever you wish.
