Learning Linux offline material: RUTE tuts expired

Hi,

Learning Linux is exciting. But the following guide

is very old now, some commands have changed, like 'logout' doesn't
work, instead, 'exit' is the command and many other changes are also
there. In learning Linux general, is there any other alternative
offline like the one that of Rute (since it is old now)?
