BIOS doesn't see hard drive with Fedora 16, may it be an install issue?

I imagined that, but it's nice to have confirmation, thanks. Any
hypothesis on what may be wrong with the computer is very welcome, of course
(maybe offlist, if it's positive that is not fedora-related).
