Change wireless interface "sens" value how?

I don't know what the antenna details are for laptops - but for those
laptops where the signal received is quoted in dBm typical values seem
to be around -35dBm for a good signal and -85 to -90 for a really weak
signal - how to interpret those numbers in terms of antenna impedance
I don't know?
