why is /var/spool/cups so huge?

c00001 is a job history file from CUPS for sure.
The 4G one, I dunno. What does it contain?
Why don't you simply delete it yourself?
No reason to worry if it's as old as Jan 13th and doesn't return
every day. ;-)
