but generally all the PowerEdge servers are intended to run Linux but
you should probably be careful with some of the RAID controllers because
some of them (notably the S100 & S300) are not true hardware RAID and
are not well supported by Linux software.

Also, it should be noted that Dell PowerEdge servers are tested for use
with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (aka RHEL) and a distribution like Fedora
is not tested, though it usually works.
