F15 fails to suspend/hibernate on Thinkpad W510+

I experience this behavior on a T61 so I don't think it's a Sandy Bridge
problem. I've experienced it since F14. I also use a docking station and
external display and remember back when I was running F14 I found a bug
report somewhere confirming that (at least on F14) it was related to the
external display. I'll have to look and see if I can find that bug report
and also check if one exists for F15 yet.

You're right this is a terrible problem, because at least for me, it's
intermittent, but when it happens you can kiss your unsaved work goodbye :(
