howto boot from usb iso?

Starting with nothing but unallocated space on /dev/sdc, here's what liveusb-
creator says:

Fedora-15-x86_64-DVD.iso selected
Resetting Master Boot Record of /dev/sdc
Unsupported filesystem: iso9660
