Fedora14 is filling up my HDD without a reason

Could well be, though I can't recall anybody describing which of them
the thing being discussed in this thread was.

I recall looking through browser settings back when I played with fire
(Win98), and seeing various options for whether Java could access this
or that, most of them being to allow it.  Surprise, surprise.

Anyway, Java is something I keep at arm's length, because it makes any
multi-GHz computer that I try it on run like a lame dog.  Even worse
than Flash.
