  Since there is some debate about the viability of gnome-3 (at the
present time) and some of the gnome-2-fers may choose to go with other
DE's ...

  Has anyone written a 'How to migrate from Gnome-2 to KDE-4' guide?

  A cheatsheet form might be good ...

  For example:

   1) How to add/create application launchers (with or without drawers)
on a panel (for things which are not part of the distro in particular).

   2) How to manage deafult applications (be they KDE or gnome based.)

  etc.
